Samantha Mohr

Mohr was one of the UGA student and entered her first pageant when she was recommended by a close friend. The contest was named Miss Columbus 1985. Mohr was then eligible to be a part of the Miss Georgia pageant, which was held in June of 1985. Mohr received the title of Miss Georgia 1985 on 22 June 1985. She earned more than $3,500 in cash scholarships as well as other prize money from the state pageant. Mohr was Miss Georgia and made public appearances throughout Georgia in the course of her duties. Mohr, Georgia's representative, attended Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 1985. Mohr had a odds of 22-to-one of winning the Miss America title. Computer modeling proved successful in predicting Susan Akin's success. Mohr did not rank in the top 10 finalist for the national crown. Mohr's time as Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was elected Miss Georgia 1986. Samantha Samantha Samantha
